Say hi to Leyna – Draped in leaves and fairy lights, lovely Leyna seems more dream than real. And yet this wintry beauty with the pink-tinged ears is the one real love of her devoted mom’s life. After developing a mass between her right eye and ear that quickly ulcerated, Leyna urgently needed prompt veterinary attention. Sadly, however, her mom, who is presently unemployed and caring for her ailing father, lacked the necessary funds. We provided her with a Home for Life grant and hope that, since cats have nine lives, Leyna has many more lives still to live, to love and to be loved.
