Meet Homer –

What is there about a beagle’s expression that makes you want to smile? And yet, for awhile, Homer himself had little to smile about. His beloved owner, for whom he has always been an emotional service dog, underwent several surgeries for cancer and, unable to work for many months, was soon in dire financial straits. Of greatest concern to him, however, was his inability to properly feed Homer or fund his annual exam and vaccines. We were proud to provide this once-happy twosome with a Home For Life grant to cover the cost of both. Guess who’s smiling again?
