Bella, Tanya and Beth
Never was the expression “It takes a village” more true than for one small dog named Bella and the two caring women in her life – her mom, Tanya, and her foster mom, Beth.
Forced by circumstance to take her children to a homeless shelter that allowed no pets, a distraught Tanya found comfort in the generosity of Beth, who offered to foster their cherished dog until the family was adequately housed once more. Despite her own limited finances, Beth knew the importance of maintaining Bella’s good health, and so, thanks to your ongoing and generous support, we provided her with a Home for Life grant to cover the cost of Bella’s spay, vaccines, and grooming.
